The Munich-based healthtech startup, founded in 2018 Wellabe claims to serve around 100 B2B customers in the area of corporate healthcare. The company offers workplace health checkups with its mobile solution. With personalized, digital prevention programs and mobile health stations, Wellabe provides participants with comprehensive insight into their current health status and data-driven recommendations for sustainable lifestyle changes. This is intended to contribute to the early identification of risk factors and proactive prevention of diseases.
Now the group has Mavie from Austria acquired 60 percent of Wellabe. With its Mavie Work offering, the healthcare provider supports companies and their employees on their path to better health. The company's portfolio includes services in the areas of physical and mental health. These range from modern, low-threshold diagnostics to exercise programs, mental coaching, nutritional advice, and more. Mavie currently supports around 190 companies with approximately 145,000 employees.

Details of the acquisition were not disclosed. Besides Mavie, Sana Kliniken is also one of Wellabe's owners.
