Clear Insights: Founded by Maximilian Rast, Cillié Burger, and Frank Birzle, Klar is developing a business intelligence platform for small and medium-sized e-commerce brands. The startup leverages data from all relevant third-party data sources to provide brands with a transparent understanding of their finances, customer purchasing behavior, and marketing effectiveness across all channels. The seed round for Clear It's now a good two years since the startup's first round: in March 2022, the Munich-based company received €2.3 million from Cherry Ventures and various business angels. Not only is the timing for the next round right, but the team is also impressive. The insurtech brought Frank on board as co-founder of Ottonova, Cillié as VP of Engineering, and Maximilian as CMO. Max then moved on to become CMO at Yfood, and Cillié as CTO at Teleclinic, before the three co-founded Klar.
