Zukunft Handwerk offers an exciting pitch opportunity for young companies: Startups that are not older than 5 years and have fewer than 25 employees can now apply for the pitch competition “Succession and New Business – The Pitch in Crafts" with a creative pitch video that is no longer than 1:30 minutes long and shot in portrait format. Videos can be submitted online until January 12, 2024.
After the submitted videos have been uploaded, the public will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite startup or preferred successor. Voting is open from January 24th to February 9th. The top three applicants will be invited to the Zukunft Handwerk Congress from February 28th to March 1st, 2024. There, they will have the chance to present their idea live on stage and impress the jury. The jury will decide on the rankings on site and award the €5,000 prize money accordingly. Tijen Onaran and Jörg Dittrich, President of the Central Association of German Skilled Crafts, will be part of the jury.
