QMware is part of the Austrian Quantum Machine Learning Initiative

A consortium of Austrian and German experts in machine learning and quantum computing is launching Austria's first national platform for quantum machine learning under the title "Quantum Connect." The Munich-based startup QMware is also participating.

The aim of the initiative is to build a community dedicated to the research and development of quantum machine learning applications. These will be used in various industries and public administration in Austria in the future. Quantum Connect brings together experts and industry partners to create a unified platform for knowledge and technology exchange.

Gradient Zero, an Austrian machine learning company, launched the initiative together with the Vienna-based private equity firm PQML. The consortium is complemented by the two German partners QMware and Anaqor. While the Berlin-based quantum startup Anaqor provides its community-driven quantum computing platform PlanQK, QMware provides access to quantum computing power in the cloud. As a member of the SeQuenC initiative, QMware is already working Since last year, we have been working on the first quantum cloud for German industry.

“We are excited to launch Quantum Connect with our partners QMware and Anaqor to bring Quantum Machine Learning to Austria and beyond,”

says Jona Boeddinghaus, COO at Gradient Zero, and adds:

“We can’t wait to connect learners of all ages and experience levels and provide tutorials and infrastructure for those who want to delve into the world of quantum and AI.”
