Actindo: Collaboration with Aldi E-Commerce

Aldi E-Commerce GmbH & Co. KG (AEC), a joint venture between Aldi Nord and Aldi Süd, will collaborate with the Munich-based company Actindo to develop a central Digital Operations Platform (DOP) to further optimize the German "Aldi Online Shop."

The AEC joint venture aims to offer customers a shopping experience not only in-store but also online. Following the launch of the German "Aldi Online Shop," the company now aims to take the store to the next level by further optimizing the customer experience and better meeting current and future needs.

With its software platform Actindo It gives companies the ability to orchestrate any front-end, back-end, or legacy system. This enables brands, retailers, and manufacturers to leverage their data, accelerate workflows, and automate processes across systems, touchpoints, databases, data warehouses, and AI solutions.

The Actindo The Core1 platform provides AEC with a central hub for managing and operating digital business models. It orchestrates and automates digital processes to deliver an outstanding digital shopping experience and enable internal data exchange across the organization. The platform is designed to enable AEC to manage a consistent customer experience and multiple e-commerce technology providers, while seamlessly exchanging data, microservices, and necessary business capabilities between the online shop platform and AEC's existing IT landscape. Boris Krstic, co-founder and CEO of Actindo, explains:

"Think of our DOP as the modern, adaptive, and future-proof version of ERP. Thanks to this agile and adaptable platform, with a state-of-the-art composable approach, we can help our clients implement new digital strategies at lightning speed, regardless of front-end, back-end, or legacy system."

To improve operational efficiency, Actindo Core1 offers an additional monitoring environment for the holistic monitoring and visualization of all back-end processes in digital commerce. It also includes a central data hub combined with process automation and comprehensive e-commerce ERP functions. Furthermore, Actindo enables data orchestration for inventory management and is highly scalable for processing large amounts of data.
