When future technologies, innovative business models and creative delicacies come together, it is time again for 'Startup meets craft'. Launched as a joint project by the Chamber of Skilled Crafts for Munich and Upper Bavaria (HWK) and Munich Startup 2016, the event aims to promote exchange between innovative founders and craftspeople. It offers participants a unique opportunity to learn about new technologies and business models and to identify synergies between the world of skilled crafts and the startup scene that aren't always apparent at first glance.
The evening event, which takes place on October 12th at the HWK premises, consists of two parts: After an entertaining stage program, in which all protagonists introduce themselves and their companies in three-minute pitches, the event continues with relaxed networking. The highlight here – besides interesting conversations and intensive exchange – are the local delicacies that will be served. This year, the Munich Hopfenhäcker Creative Brewery with its symbiosis of German brewing art and American craft beer and the Place fish from Mittenwald with his fish craft from the Bavarian Alps.
