At Techfounders, each batch focuses on different key areas, which are explored together with one of the program's corporate partners. Batch 19, among others, is working with Datev on AI-based learning support in the corporate sector and with Festo on AI-driven generative solutions for technology and manufacturing. HP Tech Ventures is interested in solutions related to the future of work and the circular economy. Wacker is looking for flexible automated (dis)assembly processes in chemical factories, and Wieland is interested in getting to know startups that are creating solutions for smarter and safer work environments.
What the Techfounders program has to offer
The Techfounders program offers participating startups not only access to corporations and SMEs through its corporate partners and pilot project focus areas, but also tailored coaching and mentoring from experienced serial entrepreneurs, technology experts, business angels, venture capitalists, and experienced industry experts. Startups also receive access to free office space in Munich and the opportunity to present their solutions at the Ultimate Demo Day.
For the program Any startup that is active with its solution in one of the focus areas can apply. Techfounders also awards wildcards to companies active in the areas of Net Zero, Healthcare, and Industry 4.0. Furthermore, founders must be able to present a working prototype, and their startup should not have yet completed a financing round. The application period runs until September 25, 2023, and the actual program will then start in January 2024.
Further information about the program and how to apply can be found on the Techfounders website.
