The Exploration Company: The road to space is long, arduous and expensive – and like many other New Space startups, The Exploration Company change exactly that. The young company is aiming to transport cargo and eventually people into space with its self-developed Nyx space capsule. In developing Nyx, the startup, based in Weßling and Merignac near Bordeaux, recently reach two milestones and successfully test key hardware components. However, hardware development is expensive – and so the company, founded in 2021 and funded with a total of around €45 million through several financing rounds, could certainly use another investment.
