Proxima Fusion
4th place: Another financing round ranks fourth this month. The Munich-based fusion startup Proxima Fusion could his Pre-Seed Round and raise €7 million. The spin-off from the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics (IPP) aims to build its first fusion power plant as early as the 2030s, relying on the so-called stellerator concept, familiar from the Wendelstein 7-X reactor.
