Pumpkin Organics wants to increase marketing
Raising funds has proven anything but easy, says the founder Jaclyn Schnau towards the startup scene.
“For many, we are not sexy enough,”
says Schnau.
"We are not a meat alternative, we don't make oat milk, and we don't make supplements. And we want nothing less than to completely transform children's nutrition. Our mission is to combat lifestyle diseases like obesity and diabetes."
The founder says they want to teach children that not only sweet things are delicious. Therefore, the goal is not the fastest growth, but rather education and persuasion: "We want to change the entire food industry." This worries investors.
With the fresh capital, the two founders Jaclyn Schnau and her husband Florian Schnau want to strengthen their marketing activities. Startup wants to work with influencers in particular and strengthen promotion in brick-and-mortar stores.
Pumpkin Organics' products have found their way into the product ranges of Spar, DM, Alnatura, Basic, and Rossmann, among others. The Munich-based company is also listed at the Austrian chains Billa and Bipa.
