Your startups of the month

In April, we are once again choosing the Startups of the Month, i.e. the five companies that have particularly interested many Munich Startup readers this month.

5th place: Tanso enables companies to determine their carbon footprint. This puts the Munich-based startup in a rapidly growing market: Until now, only large corporations were subject to CO2 emissions reporting requirements. Starting in 2025, however, every company with an annual turnover of over €40 million, a balance sheet total of €20 million, or more than 250 employees will be required to calculate and publish its carbon footprint as part of its regular annual reporting. Tanso received €2.5 million for its product development through the EIC Accelerator program in March 2023. At the end of April, a further 4 million euros flowed to the Munich-based software company. This news secures Tanso fifth place in the Startups of the Month for April. Congratulations! (Photo: Tanso)
