In April, we are once again choosing the Startups of the Month, i.e. the five companies that have particularly interested many Munich Startup readers this month.

Tado
2nd place: Second place goes to Tado with his expanded Series H of over 55 million eurosAt the beginning of April, the Munich-based company's financing round was increased by a further 12 million euros, increasing its total from 43 to 55 million euros. Since its founding in 2011, Tado has been developing smart thermostats and solutions designed to help its customers reduce their heating costs – by an average of 22 percent, according to the company. In 2022, the company doubled its business with intelligent thermostats and service offerings. In addition to its smart thermostat business, Tado has also been involved in flexible electricity marketing since the beginning of last year. This year, the company plans to expand its energy management offerings for private households by combining its smart thermostats with dynamic energy tariffs. (Photo: Tado)
