5 Edtech startups from Munich that are revolutionizing learning
The digitalization of learning continues to advance. Innovative startups, in particular, are driving this development—as these five examples from the Munich startup scene demonstrate.
Easy-Tutor offers an online tutoring platform for students, pupils, and their parents. They can choose from more than 1,000 active and individually vetted tutors. The startup was founded in 2017 by Jessica Contento and Massimo Cancellara. Only at the end of 2022 did the edtech startup announce the completion of its Series A financing round of €4.8 million. Its cooperation partners also play a significant role in the development of Easy-Tutor. According to the company, approximately 200 partner schools and 40 percent of all Bundesliga clubs – including FC Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen, and Eintracht Frankfurt – currently use Easy-Tutor in their childcare programs for children and young people. The company also aims to attract companies to cooperate. These companies will provide Easy-Tutor with greater visibility through their target group relevance, while their customers benefit from the tutoring services. In the past, the startup has already collaborated with well-known retailers such as Edeka, Müller Handels GmbH, and MediaMarktSaturn. (Photo: Easy-Tutor)
