Sono Motors — Sono Motors: It should also be an exciting year for our third-placed startup in January, Sono Motors. The Sion program is in jeopardy after the startup was unable to secure financing for its solar-powered electric car. With the help of #savesion campaign The Sion community should now decide how the program will proceed – and ideally, provide funding. However, things are going better for the Munich-based company's solar business. In January, Sono Motors secured a Financing of 1.46 million euros from the European Executive Agency for Climate, Infrastructure and Environment.
