IZB: “Leading biotechnology location in Germany and Europe”

Peter Hanns Zobel, Managing Director of the IZB, says:

"We are delighted to welcome Andera Partners to the IZB. The presence of this important European life sciences investor on our campus underpins our position as a leading biotechnology location in Germany and Europe. I am confident that this will create interesting synergies that will benefit both the startups based here and Andera."

The investor invests in companies that develop groundbreaking therapeutic products and medical technologies from the preclinical phase to commercialization, says Olivier Litzka, now a Munich-based partner at Andera:

"Our company focuses on developing innovative medical solutions based on solid scientific hypotheses, supported by preclinical or clinical data, and protected by strong intellectual property. Andera takes an active role in its investments and supports talented entrepreneurs who consistently advance their innovations. I very much look forward to a lively exchange in the environment of the IZB, Martinsried, and Munich."
