Many investors bring not only money and contacts, but also a name that almost automatically attracts attention. These Munich startups can boast of having convinced such celebrity investors.
Also at Reinvent Carsten Maschmeyer demonstrated the right instinct: When he joined the construction and real estate software provider in the summer of 2020 with his venture capital fund Alstin Capital, he declared: "Reinvent is Alstin Capital's first proptech investment – and it is already revolutionizing the construction industry." Two years later, the exit followed: The Bremen-based wholesaler GC Group acquired a majority stake in Reinvent in June 2022, and all shareholders except the founders are said to have sold their shares to him for a double-digit million sum.
