Last year, Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer acquired shares in Votebase The startup has developed an election app based on blockchain technology. Neuer has also leased the Valepp forestry lodge south of Spitzingsee with a business partner and is likely investing several million euros in renovating the building.
