5 Munich founders you should know

In our interview series "Women in Tech," we feature female founders from Munich's startup scene. What do they wish they had known before founding their first company? How has their company been financed so far? What motivated them to start their own business? You can find five of the founders who addressed these questions here. And many more in the "Women in Tech" category.

Veronika Schweighart
Veronika Schweighart from Climedo: In 2017, Veronika Schweighart founded Climedo together with her two co-founders, Sascha Ritz and Dragan Mileski. The healthtech startup has developed a digital platform for decentralized clinical trials with a focus on patients. Climedo's goal is to find solutions for efficient and data protection-compliant clinical data collection. Climedo is not Schweighart's first startup; she previously co-founded Nuclino, a collaboration tool for productive teamwork. In the interview we wanted to know from heron which sectors she would focus on for future startups: "Continued digitalization in healthcare; there is still a huge amount of work to be done here to sustainably improve people's health and quality of life. In my opinion, this depends on the sensible combination of various technologies such as AI, big data, and blockchain." (Photo: Veronika Schweighart / Climedo)
