The research and development company startup Motius specializes in future technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, extended reality, and robotics, building products and prototypes in these areas. The R&D service provider supports companies such as BMW, Siemens, MTU, Microsoft, and Lufthansa Technik with innovations. Many of the solutions developed by the project teams have the potential to become independent products. Motius intends to support these spin-offs in the future with its €35 million Spacewalk fund.
Market advantage, technology & now also capital
Zied Bahrouni, CEO and Co-Founder of Motius, explains:

To launch Spacewalk, Motius has reorganized its personnel: Michael Münnix and Felix Wolf are joining the team as Venture Partners. Spacewalk's Advisory Board includes Carlos Haertel, the CTO of Climeworks, Hana Milanov from the Technical University of Munich, and Herbert Mangesius, Founding Partner at Vsquared Ventures.

The fact that successful project teams can quickly become entrepreneurs is also due to Motius's unique organizational structure: In addition to a core team as a competence center, the young company has access to a pool of highly qualified talent with a wide range of qualifications. A project team is assembled for each task, and project management is handled by Motius's core team. Zièd Bahrouni is confident:
