Cybersecurity and data analytics are the focus of this year's Innovators' Pitch: How can IT systems and our data be protected from criminal hackers and cyberattacks from abroad? And how can companies' treasured data be used responsibly with the help of data analytics and artificial intelligence? Startups that provide answers to these questions can apply for the 14th Innovators' Pitch. It will take place as part of the hub.berlin business festival on June 22, 2022, at Funkhaus Berlin.

Until May 15, early stage startups can submit their ideas, prototypes and products submit onlineThe finalists will then pitch their ideas to the hub.berlin audience and a jury of experts. The winners in each category will receive €5,000 in prize money, as well as free membership in the Bitkom startup initiative Get Started, which hosts the Innovators' Pitch.
"This year's Innovators' Pitch addresses two core themes of digital transformation. Cybersecurity has been in the spotlight long before the Russian attack on Ukraine. Startups, in particular, can contribute to greater security in cyberspace with innovative technologies,"
says Daniel Breitinger, Head of Startups at the digital association Bitkom.
"And the responsible and secure analysis of data is central to the success of digital business models and the transition to a data economy. The enormous potential we have in this country, especially in the cooperation between startups and small and medium-sized enterprises, is far from being exploited."
