With the district's Future Prize Munich The award is intended to honor outstanding initiatives, companies, and citizens who are committed to a socially responsible, environmentally friendly, and climate-friendly future in the Munich district. Innovative projects, sustainable business models, and dedicated individuals whose commitment reflects the motto "Responsibility. Innovation. Sustainability" have a good chance of receiving the award.
Courage for corporate sustainability
In addition to the Future Prize, a special prize will also be awarded for the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda, which is intended to draw attention to the United Nations' global sustainability goals. Susanna Bertschi, head of the BVMW district association Munich and Starnberg says:
"The BVMW is a long-standing cooperation partner of the Munich District Office. With the Future Prize, we honor medium-sized companies and entrepreneurial personalities who have the courage to voluntarily commit themselves beyond legal requirements in the spirit of corporate sustainability. Technological progress and digitalization support sustainable concepts in this process."
