The Munich startup Sento offers software solutions for the fully automated digital exchange of business-critical documents such as orders, delivery notes, and invoices. Since its founding in January, the company, founded by Felix Krauth, Lucian Riediger, and Nimar Blume, has been aiming to restructure data exchange along global supply chains.
“100 percent cloud and API-based”
Co-Founder and CEO Felix Krauth explains:
"Many people are surprised when we explain how dependent global supply chains are on fax, email, or outdated system integration technologies. Our vision is to create a global infrastructure to bring B2B data exchange into the 21st century – 100 percent cloud- and API-based."
The Picus Capital The pre-seed financing was expanded to €2 million. According to the company, the decisive factor for the expansion was interest from additional investors.
"From day one, we were very impressed by the team's broad vision and clarity of product strategy. Within a very short time, Felix, Lucian, and Nimar created a plug-and-play platform that can already connect a large portion of the German grocery retail industry via API."
says Oliver Heinrich, Partner at Picus Capital.
The capital will be used to further develop the product and expand the team. In addition to the already implemented connections with food retailers and suppliers, the solution will next be expanded to include additional use cases, thus enabling it to be deployed in supply chains across the entire fast-moving consumer goods segment.
