Slush 2021: Finally meeting people again

Over 2,000 investors attended Slush in Helsinki in 2019, making the event the world's largest gathering of venture capital. After a one-year hiatus, the organizers now aim to repeat this success. The results on site are clear: with success.

An important part of Slush—some say even the most important—are the side events that take place throughout the week in Helsinki. At the Swedish School of Economics Hanken, for example, there was an impressive breakdance performance and outstanding speakers. Slush founder Peter Vesterbacka, Taavet Hinrikus, legendary first employee of Skype and co-founder of (Transfer)Wise, and Juhani Mykkänen, co-founder of Wolt, shared their expectations for the startups of the future.
