'Creative Embassy': Munich and Amsterdam deepen their cooperation

Munich and Amsterdam have been collaborating in the field of innovation and the creative industries for several years. Now, the 'Creative Embassy' cooperation is being continued and intensified.

The city cooperation 'Creative Embassy' was Officially launched in 2017The aim of the collaboration is to join forces, inspire each other, and strengthen the creative industries in Munich and Amsterdam. This initiative was initiated by Creative Holland and the Competence team for the cultural and creative industries of the City of MunichThe Creative Embassy is now entering a new phase, developing, testing, and publicly presenting innovative solutions to common urban challenges in so-called 'Field Labs'. The first to launch is the 'Cities of Things' Field Lab.

Munich hopes that its collaboration with Amsterdam will provide insights into topics such as sustainability, the circular economy and urban mobility, particularly with regard to the role of cycling.
