Startups have the opportunity to promote their profile in the Munich Startup Insights to claim it for themselves and enrich it with additional information or update the existing data themselves. To do so, they simply search for their company in the database, click the "Edit" button, and register to begin the verification process. Thanks to Munich Startup's participation in AWS's Activate program, they will also receive a code with which they can claim $5,000 in AWS credits.
AWS supports Munich startups
The data partner Dealroom.co creates the basic entries in Munich Startup Insights using artificial intelligence and algorithms. The data is collected from public sources such as social media, domain and commercial registries, job boards, website and mobile application usage analytics, news articles in more than 30 languages, and investor portfolios. Furthermore, the quality of the information is ensured through verification and validation processes.
"Through our collaboration with Dealroom, we have been providing a detailed overview of Munich's diverse startup ecosystem for over a year now, in a simple yet comprehensive way. We are pleased to now be able to offer our startups additional support thanks to our cooperation with AWS,"
says Gabriele Böhmer, Head of Munich Startup.
More visibility for Munich startups
"The vision of the partnership between Munich Startup and Dealroom is to create more visibility for the great startups in the Munich ecosystem and build network effects between the ecosystem's players. We are thrilled that the AWS Activate program supports this vision and are confident that it will give founders a head start in building their companies,"
says Yoram Wijngaarde, CEO of Dealroom.co.
