The Biotech Bootcamp aims to help founders transform their biotech ideas into successful, scalable companies. To this end, it offers an intensive eight-week business training program where participants can validate their ideas and develop knowledge in preclinical development and entrepreneurial skills. The Biotech Bootcamp also connects founders with mentors, life science experts, and industry professionals, and provides access to its international network of industry partners.
In addition, participants will have the opportunity to take part in this year’s Bioentrepreneurship Summit in Munich. The BioM event brings together key players from the world of biotechnology and health tech entrepreneurship, offering a great opportunity to learn and network with leading researchers, innovators, and investors in your field. The summit will take place virtually from October 19-21, 2021.
Biotech Bootcamp Application
Almost anyone with a suitable idea and the desire to bring it to market can apply for participation – however, there are only 12 places available. The application deadline is July 18. Starting with the program launch on September 6, regular online courses and networking opportunities await for eight weeks.
Moritz Völker-Albert, co-founder of the Munich biotech startup Epiqmax and former participant of the Biotech Bootcamp, says:
"BioM's startup support helped us specifically analyze the relevant market for us. In particular, the networking with experienced founders from the life sciences sector initiated by BioM helped us validate our business case. Finally, with BioM's help, we were able to participate in numerous conferences where we established valuable business contacts."
