The core technology of Metismotion are highly dynamic, lightweight, and powerful drives – so-called actuators. Metismotion has developed an actuator platform – comparable to servo motors – that offers new technical possibilities.
New platform for individual actuators
Patrick Fröse, Managing Director of Metismotion, explains:
"Imagine being able to replace high-power pneumatic or hydraulic solutions in existing installation spaces with highly efficient electrically powered drives! This is typically not feasible with conventional electric motors."
With the fresh capital, Metismotion make its technology accessible to a broad customer base. For this purpose, the launch of Naxture is planned for late summer. The platform is designed to enable users to quickly and easily configure customized actuators for the smallest installation spaces. Actuator geometry, available forces, speeds and travel ranges, as well as safety behavior, are always tailored to the specific requirements of the application.
Thomas Villinger, Managing Director of the Heilbronn Future Fund, is convinced of the idea:
"Even at the time of the spin-off, Metismotion was very close to the market and active in many application areas. Especially in the Heilbronn region, the region of the global market leaders, Metismotion was able to acquire promising customers during the pilot customer phase. Openness to innovation is a natural fit here, and we are therefore looking forward to the further rollout. We see great market opportunities – not just nationally."
“Exciting growth opportunity”
And Jens Baumgärtner, Senior Investment Manager at High-Tech Gründerfonds, adds:
"The electrification of currently inefficient pneumatic and hydraulic actuators, especially in industrial automation, is an exciting growth opportunity. Metismotion can define a new segment here with its technology! Exciting for investors seeking disruptive technologies and wanting to participate in their success."
