7 Business Angels for Workpath

Workpath has secured seven new business angels in preparation for an upcoming Series A financing round.

The Munich startup Workpath has developed a collaboration platform designed to help companies plan, coordinate, and achieve goals across departmental boundaries. With the targeted Series A financing round, the company intends to expand its platform for agile management processes and also take further steps toward internationalization.

The following experts will support the young company in its future strategic direction and further growth:

  • André Christ (Founder and CEO LeanIX)
  • Christian Köhler (Partner Strategy Engineers)
  • Christopher Freese (Senior Partner BCG)
  • Jonas Rieke (COO Personio)
  • Jörg Beyer (founder of LeanIX)
  • Maximilian Hasler (Founder and CFO/COO Konux)
  • Sebastian Walter (VP Customer Success Celonis)

Johannes Müller, founder and managing director of Workpath, comments on the current development:

"We are delighted to have this strong round of investors on board, with all their expertise and network. The experience this group brings in transforming large companies and entire industries will further drive our growth. 2020 was a successful year for Workpath, and not least due to the pandemic, many companies have realized that operational resilience, speed, and adaptability are becoming increasingly important for survival. We will now continue to build on these developments and successes with our new partners and investors."

Added value for customers immediately accessible

Sebastian Walter, VP Customer Success at Celonis, is enthusiastic:

"I was immediately enthusiastic about Workpath because it's an intuitive product whose added value for customers is immediately apparent. Every company supports its employees in working successfully by defining strategic goals. I look forward to accompanying and actively supporting the Workpath team on this exciting journey."

Jonas Rieke, COO of the SaaS Unicorn Personio, continues:

"I've experienced with Personio how challenging good strategic alignment and planning can be for rapidly growing organizations, and it's undeniable that the complexity of this task scales with the size of a company. What excites me about Workpath is the vision of not just building another OKR tool, but creating an agnostic business outcomes platform that combines goal setting, portfolio management, project management, and powerful analytics."

Solution for established companies

And Maximilian Hasler, COO/CFO of Konux, is sure:

"Enterprise customers, in particular, are struggling with mature structures and complex interrelationships in an increasingly agile environment and are therefore at risk of losing their competitive advantage. Workpath has immense leverage to optimize the strategic management and implementation of these customers, and I am delighted to be able to accompany their further development."
