Commnex cooperates with NRW.Bank

Munich-based fintech Commnex has entered into a partnership with NRW.Bank. Starting in January 2021, municipal companies will also be able to access funding from the development bank for North Rhine-Westphalia on the startup's online platform.

Commnex offers municipalities, municipal companies and financial institutions in Germany and Austria an independent digital marketplace for their financing and deposit needs. Fintech companies Based in Munich, the company was founded in 2016 by managing directors Friedrich v. Jagow and Carl v. Halem. The Munich-based company's online platform has been online since spring 2017.

Commnex creates “further digital access to funding products”

In the future, selected NRW.Bank funding programs will be presented and updated continuously on the Commnex platform via an interface connection.

says Commnex Managing Director Carl v. Halem.

“We have been using online platforms for some time to support municipalities in NRW with their investments using our funding,”

says Michael Stölting, Member of the Board of Management of NRW.Bank.

“Through our cooperation with Commnex, municipal companies will have further digital access to our funding products starting in 2021.”
