The startup poster 'It takes a city to raise a startup' presents Munich's startup ecosystem at a glance. Startups can still apply today to be featured on the poster.

Already at fourth time The startup poster 'It takes a city to raise a startup' offers an overview of Munich's startup scene. The campaign launched in Munich in 2017. The initiative has now expanded to Frankfurt and the Ruhr area. This year's version of the poster is based on the motto "When a virus turns the world upside down, an ecosystem has to move closer together."

Startups can still apply to be featured on the poster free of charge until today.

The printed poster features 59 startups. For the first time, all participating startups will receive a digital profile on the campaign's website.

'It takes a city to raise a startup': Campaign takes place digitally and offline

The printed A0 posters hang throughout the year at startup events, in offices and scene hangouts and show not only startups but also ecosystem players such as accelerators, investors, the entrepreneurship centers of colleges and universities, scaleups and network players, the most important events and coworking spaces.

In addition to the paper posters, the campaign also runs digitally. Ambassadors, the scene's multipliers, post and share the graphics and slogans in a coordinated social media campaign.

Next year, the focus will once again be on personal exchange. Joint events with other ecosystems are planned, for example.
