#CoronaUpdate with Volabo: "We are fully on schedule"

Volabo develops high-performance motors that operate at a low voltage of 48 volts. Lena Honsberg, responsible for marketing at the Munich-based startup, explains in the #CoronaUpdate how Volabo has fared during the coronavirus crisis.

As Lena Honsberg reports, the coronaThe crisis initially severely impacted the Munich-based cleantech startup. Volabo works extensively with automobile manufacturers and suppliers, who were also hit hard by the lockdown. Many projects were therefore put on hold at short notice.

“Hot phase with a positive result”

The Munich-based company used the lockdown period to complete their product development and sell the first products. Honsberg says in retrospect:

“We have had a very hot phase in the last few weeks and months with a very positive result.”

Volabo is now fully on schedule and only needs one thing: "a reasonably normal economic environment to be able to get off to a good start."
