Munich's startup scene is now home to several unicorns, companies valued at more than one billion dollars. Germany's first decacorn is also based here.

Sono Motors: With the jump to the American technology stock exchange Nasdaq In November of this year, Sono Motors increased its company value and achieved unicorn status. According to Munich Startup Insights The company's current valuation is €1.7 billion. The production start of the Sion, the Munich-based company's first electric car model, has already been postponed several times. Sono Motors is currently planning a launch date of 2023.
