For the third time, the City of Munich is seeking successful women for its LaMonachia 2020 business award. Female managers and entrepreneurs can apply or be nominated for this municipal business award. The application deadline is March 30.
The LaMonachia 2020 Award will be presented to two female entrepreneurs or managers from Munich. With this business award, the city highlights the achievements and success of women in the business community and showcases female role models in business. The focus is on economic success, innovation, and commitment. The symbol of LaMonachia is the lioness, which represents strength, poise, and natural authority.
In 2018, Delia Fischer from Westwing received the Award as a successful entrepreneur. This also made women as startup founders in Munich a bit more visible (here a Interview with Delia Fischer).
How can you participate in LaMonachia 2020?
Requirements for participation in LaMonachia 2020 are
- a company headquarters in the city of Munich,
- Success, commitment and innovative work,
- a manager must work in a leadership position,
- An entrepreneur must have been successful in the market for at least three years.
Do you meet these criteria and want to be included as a successful woman? Then you can either apply directly or be nominated. The winners will be selected by a panel of experts and announced at a festive awards ceremony on July 14, 2020.
