International EU-China Cooperation Fair in full swing

This year’s “EU-China Business & Technology Cooperation Fair” is currently in full swing and is bringing European and Chinese participants to Chengdu, the economic center of western China, for the tenth time.

The international cooperation fair includes plenary presentations, thematic sessions, exhibitions, and B2B discussions. The focus is on all facets of renewable energy, ICT, biotechnology, environmental protection, aviation, innovation, and entrepreneurship. The program is aimed at SMEs, innovative clusters, universities, and research institutes. Munich Startup is also represented by Ms. Gabriele Böhmer.

The Cooperation Fair is well attended and already boasts a diverse mix of approximately 150 European and 350 Chinese guests on the opening day. A total of around 1,000 participants are expected. During the four-day fair, international participants will also visit nearby Mianyang, which sees itself as China's answer to Silicon Valley.

The cooperation fair runs until November 12th.
