The Bio Entrepreneurship Summit 2019 is all about the latest developments in life sciences. The event is organized by Bio M will take place on October 15 and 16, 2019, in Munich at TranslaTUM, located at Einsteinstraße 25. The motto is "Create the Future of Medicine." It is intended to provide a platform for exchange among those interested in biotechnology and medical engineering.
The English-language conference will address, among other things, the challenges of founding a life science or health tech company, such as time-consuming development cycles, strict legal requirements, high capital requirements, and technological and market uncertainties. The event will also focus on the future of medicine, which is strongly shaped by rapid economic growth and the development of new health technologies, therapies, and diagnostics.
Bio Entrepreneurship Summit 2019: The program
In addition to various lectures, panel discussions, workshops, and startup pitches, participants will also have the opportunity to interact with experts and interested parties. Among others, Kim Baden-Kristensen from Brain+ will speak on "Developing apps as medical products – dos and don'ts," Dior Baumjohann from Ascenion will address "Essentials to move your technology from bench to business," and David Ng from UnternehmerTUM will give a talk titled "Why you should care about AI as an entrepreneur."
Corporates and investors pay 389 euros for a ticket, small and medium-sized enterprises 249 euros, pre-seed projects and startups 149 euros, and students 59 euros.
