Wanted: founders who use their ideas to solve social problems through entrepreneurial thinking. This year, the Hochsprung Award will once again honor innovative, high-impact startup projects emerging from Bavarian universities.
Is your project innovative and makes a contribution to society, for example in the areas of health, the environment, education, or integration? Was your project also inspired or supported by programs offered by a Bavarian university? Then apply now for the 2019 High Jump Award.
Prize money of 5,000 euros
In addition to a brief project outline, your applications should include information about you as a team and your startup project. The application deadline is September 29, 2019. Six selected teams will then have the opportunity to pitch to a select jury at the High Jump Conference in Munich on October 22, 2019.
The top three teams will receive prize money of €5,000 each. This year, the best pitch will also be recognized, and a special prize will be awarded to the university with the most applications.
The conditions of participation:
- Your project has a positive impact on society. The start-up project contributes to solving social problems through entrepreneurial means.
- You have already taken the first verifiable steps towards realizing your start-up project or your company is less than three years old.
- Your start-up project was inspired or supported by a course or other offering (e.g. start-up advice, entrepreneurship center, student initiative) at a Bavarian university.
- At least one team member was or is enrolled at a Bavarian university.
