The Munich startup Verso has secured the technology-oriented investment holding company Primepulse as an investor. With their support, the startup aims to continue its growth.
Verso uses a cloud-based solution to help companies, cities, and associations develop their CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) strategies. This includes mapping complex supply chains and compiling government-required reports on a company's social impact. The startup also helps companies set and meet specific goals. With this business model, Verso is following a hot new trend: Customers are increasingly demanding sustainable products that are not only environmentally friendly but also fairly manufactured. Verso operates with this business model in Germany, Austria, Finland, and the USA.
Verso wins Primepulse as investor
Now the startup was able to attract the investor Primepulse with its business model and has thus gained a new investor with similar values. The holding company has also made sustainability a priority.
Verso founder and CEO Andreas Maslo comments on this step as follows:
"With Primepulse, we now have a strong growth partner at our side who shares the same entrepreneurial values and, like us, shares a strong digital DNA. Klaus Weinmann and Primepulse look back on over 25 years of exceptional entrepreneurship and the associated incredible growth stories. We are delighted to be able to benefit from this wealth of experience and, with the additional capital, further accelerate the further development of our cloud solution. Primepulse's investment optimally supports our mission of making companies more sustainable and future-proof."
Klaus Weinmann, CEO of Primepulse, says:
"Digitalization and sustainability, or CSR, are the two mega-topics of our generation and those of the future. The idea of sustainability and a strong entrepreneurial focus on success are no longer mutually exclusive; on the contrary, they cannot be achieved separately in the long term. Therefore, I am delighted to welcome Verso, another future-oriented and innovative young digital company, to the Primepulse network."
