The digital network Mucdigital has selected the 80 leading minds of Munich's digital and creative scene. Among them are several important players in Munich's startup community.
The Mucdigital project is supported by Isarnetz eV and aims to connect the leading players in Munich's creative and digital scene, the city, and its citizens. The Isarnetzwerk eV sees itself as an open network for the creative and digital scene, bringing together entrepreneurs, managers, consultants, founders, startups, nerds, creatives, bloggers, designers, and more.
The competition

As part of the Mucdigital 2019 The award sought outstanding minds from Munich's digital and creative scene. The 21-member expert jury selected 80 individuals from a total of 232 nominees who have made a special contribution to the digital transformation of Munich and the region. Starting in June, all 80 individuals will be presented individually on Mucdigital, along with a detailed explanation of the jury's reasons for their selection.
The award winners

Among the award winners is the big data specialist and co-founder of the software company Datalion, Benedikt Köhler. He was honored for his work in data science and the development of the BI software Datalion. Also among the 80 people Delia Fischer, the managing director of the online furniture retailer Westwing, the co-founder of the founders' conference Bits & Pretzels, Andreas Bruckschlögl, Alexander Hoffmann, the founder of the Programming Café Cook and Code, Helmut Schönenberger, CEO and co-founder of UnternehmerTUM and many more. 80 instead of 100 award winners
Originally not 80, but 100 outstanding actors should be honored. The decision as to why the jury ultimately selected only 80 personalities
"Of course, that doesn't mean that Munich doesn't have more talented minds in the digital and creative industries. But the jury members took their work very seriously and critically and constructively examined all submissions."
says the jury chairman Christian Faltin. The initiator of Mucdigital and chairman of the Isarnetzwerk eV, Prof. Wolf Groß, justifies the decision by saying that
"We are sorry that with this year's call for 100 minds, we haven't yet reached all segments of Munich's digital and creative scene equally well. We see the jury's decision as an incentive for our community to propose an even broader selection of minds next year."
