Apply for Phase 3 of the Munich Business Plan Competition 2019 by tomorrow

There are only a little more than 24 hours left for startups to apply for Phase 3 of the Munich Business Plan Competition 2019 from Baystartup Innovative founders can submit their business concept or pitch deck until June 4 at 11:59 p.m.

At the Munich Business Plan Competition 2019, all founders benefit from comprehensive feedback on their business idea. The best business plans and Pitch decks will be rewarded with prize money. The good news: Even if you didn't participate in competition phases 1 and/or 2, you can still take part. Newcomers to the competition are very welcome!

How can founders participate in the Munich Business Plan Competition 2019?

In Phase 3 of the Munich Business Plan Competition, it is important that participants provide a convincing description of their business model in addition to an executive summary. They should also focus on capital requirements and revenue planning. In addition to the innovative product or service, the jury will also evaluate the market and competition analysis. Other important aspects include team organization, the implementation roadmap, a well-thought-out financial plan, and a convincing sales model.

A particularly positive aspect for participants: Each startup receives comprehensive written feedback on its idea and business plan. This is supported by a volunteer jury of experts. The jury is comprised of investors, experienced entrepreneurs, and experts from the startup scene. Feedback also comes from successful founders from the early years of the competitions, who are now serving as judges.

Particularly convincing startups have the chance to win prizes totaling 30,000 euros.

Which industries are particularly popular?

The Munich Business Plan Competition is open to innovative startups from all industries. However, most founders come from these areas:

  • ICT, i.e. information and communication technologies (software, internet, mobile, etc.)
  • Life sciences such as biotech, healthcare, medical technology, etc.
  • Technologies such as hardware, electrical engineering, energy, mechanical engineering, optics, etc. and
  • Innovative services
