Eluminocity dares to restart with sensor technology

Eluminocity is based on the Asset deal with Wirelane While Wirelane will continue to manage the charging and lighting divisions and integrate them into its own business, the sensor technology division will be spun off into a separate, independent company and continued under the existing brand.

The Munich-based startup had already attracted attention in the past through smart city innovations with partners such as Huawei, Infineon, and Analog Devices. Just this November, the young company was awarded the "High Potential Company" distinction at the China Hi-Tech Fair.

Recipe for success: partnerships, know-how and focus

The management team around Michael Schwarz, Philipp Kirschenhofer, Sebastian Jagsch and Robert Lee is convinced that the new start and the development focused on sensor systems is the right path.

"The success we've achieved with our existing projects proves that our technology is innovative and future-oriented. Through our razor-sharp focus and the continuation and expansion of established partnerships, we are confident that we can profitably apply the expertise we've built up over the years to the digitalization of urban environments."

The startup is quoted in a press release.

The newly formed Eluminocity team currently consists of ten people. The new headquarters is located in the Werksviertel district in eastern Munich.
