The Greentech Awards are entering their twelfth year and have a new look. Green startups can present their Submit project ideas by January 31, 2019.
Interested innovators can now apply for the categories Startup of the Year, Innovation of the Year, and Rising Star of the Year, among others. There will also be both a male and a female winner in the Forward Actor of the Year category.
The Greentech Awards categories at a glance
Startup of the Year:
Which is the most promising startup that contributes to environmental and resource protection? These requirements must be met:
- Contribution to a greener future (both potential and
achieved results) - Innovation or even disruption
- less than five years old since its founding until May 2019
- Entrepreneurial spirit, team spirit
Innovation of the Year:
The competition seeks the latest and most groundbreaking innovations in the field of greentech. These can include products, processes, technologies, or services. Evaluation criteria include:
- Contribution to a greener future
- Improvement over existing approaches
- Disruptive potential of innovation
- PR quality of the innovation and the team
Rising Star of the Year:
We are looking for up-and-coming youngsters (16-25
years) who are committed to sustainability. Important:
- Contribution to a greener future (both potential and
achieved results) - Project of a person or a group of people (under 25 years old until May 2019)
- International relevance and “viral” potential
The application deadline is January 31, 2019.
