The TÜV Süd Innovation Award for Digitized Industries 2018 is entering a new round. This year, the award recognizes the best innovation project in artificial intelligence (AI). The application deadline is September 9, 2018.
This year, the TÜV Süd Innovation Award for Digitized Industries is particularly looking for startups that offer unique solutions to AI challenges.
Startups with AI solutions wanted
Startups from the following areas may feel addressed:
- AI planning – e.g. semantics / language analysis, increasing data security, efficiency, effectiveness, etc. in planning processes
- AI for analysis – from technical documentation to structured knowledge
- Bias-free Training AI – Avoiding or detecting biases during the training of AI algorithms
- Understanding & testing AI systems
- Trustworthy AI algorithms – technology to demonstrate or increase trust in AI processes and algorithms
At the same time, startups can also apply if they offer outstanding solutions for autonomous systems, in healthcare or security.
In addition to the prize money of 6,000 euros, the winners will also be able to pitch to the participants of the 'Let's Put AI to Work' Summit on October 23-24 in Munich and exhibit their idea at the 'Open Digital Industry Venture Fair'. Incidentally, the winner of the TÜV SÜD Innovation Award last year was the Munich-based startup ProGlove.
