Start-up support program “Challenge Entrepreneurship” 2019

The one-year Start-up qualification support „Challenge of Entrepreneurship The Heinz Nixdorf Foundation and the German Business Foundation (sdw) offer you the opportunity to further develop your entrepreneurial ideas and put them to the test in practice. Apply for funding by October 14, 2018!

Funding is available for start-up projects that aim to create a profit-making company as well as projects that solve a social problem through entrepreneurial means (social entrepreneurship). Non-profit initiatives can begin their planned core activities during the funding period.

The funding period offers profit-oriented start-ups the opportunity to prepare and test their business concept; however, no profits may be generated during the funding period. Start-ups that have already commenced commercial operations, as well as founding teams that have already completed a similar funding program with a qualification program, are not eligible for funding. The deadline for applications is October 14, 2018.

15,000 euros and individual support

The winning teams in the “Challenge Entrepreneurship” competition will each receive funding of up to 15,000 euros, which may be used exclusively for educational measures and project-related work.

Each participating project team will receive individual support. A business consultant and a mentor with start-up experience from the sdw network will be on hand to assist them with their operational project work throughout the entire funding period, as well as a personal contact person from the team at Challenge of entrepreneurship as well as the sdw public relations and finance department for specialist questions.
