The finalists of the innovation competition Trade in Transition 2018 The two best business concepts will be awarded €10,000 each at the RID Future Congress. Munich-based companies are among the finalists.
As part of the innovation competition 'Handel im Wandel' (Trade in Transition), the Rid Foundation and UnternehmerTUM, the Center for Innovation and Business Creation at the Technical University of Munich, together with the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Energy and Technology, the HBE Trade Association Bavaria and the Chambers of Industry and Commerce in Bavaria, are looking for innovative business ideas to strengthen Bavarian retail.
10,000 for the best concepts
This year, for the first time, there are seven finalist teams instead of the previous six: retailers from traditional retail as well as startups are participating. The finalist teams will be supported in the further development of their concepts with a five-month intensive program. They will receive individual coaching from UnternehmerTUM, consulting from elaboratum New Commerce Consulting and BBE Handelsberatung, visibility in a network of innovative retailers throughout Bavaria, and a presence at the Rid Future Congress on October 25, 2018, at the Sofitel in Munich. The two best business concepts will also receive prize money of €10,000 each at the congress.
