Ever had your bike seat stolen? The startup WheelLock has developed a solution: a quick-release skewer for bicycle wheels and saddles with an integrated combination lock. This represents a novel combination of flexibility, security, and design. The flexibility of a quick-release skewer is maintained while simultaneously protecting the wheels and saddle from theft. This is the unique selling point of this system, which allows the customer to quickly disassemble the wheels and saddle without tools, while preventing theft.
At the "StartUp Talk Munich," startups present their innovative ideas. The startups were supported by the SCE Startup Funding program at Munich University of Applied Sciences.
