Entrepreneur, investor, and former stuntman Jochen Schweizer is getting his own show on ProSieben. Meanwhile, his former investor colleague Carsten Maschmeyer is having a difficult time with his show.
The adventure entrepreneur and former investor from "The Lion's Den" is returning to television. Under the working title "The Dream Job," Jochen Schweizer is seeking a managing director for one of his companies. The winner will receive a six-figure annual salary. Filming is scheduled to begin this summer. The former extreme athlete says:
"In my life, I've not only pushed myself to my limits, but I've also repeatedly pushed myself beyond them. I've always been willing to risk a little more to experience the extraordinary. Now I'm looking for someone who has adrenaline in their veins and makes dreams come true."
ProSieben station manager Daniel Rosemann says about the upcoming show:
"Jochen Schweizer and ProSieben are a perfect match! Jochen Schweizer stands for exclusive experiences and the ultimate adventure like no other."
Schweizer and the media group ProSiebenSat.1 already have a collaboration: Last June the entrepreneur sold his voucher business to the Unterföhring residents.
Maschmeyer seeks attention with mean tweets
Schweizer's former colleague in the Löwenhöhle, Carsten Maschmeyer, is having a hard time with his own startup show on Sat.1. 650,000 spectators wanted to see the last episode. This corresponds to a market share of 2.3 percent. Previously, the investor had sought attention via social media and offered 10,000 euros for the "most biting comment on the show" And although Maschmeyer According to his own statement, his stomach hurt from laughing when he read the tweets, the staged shitstorm did not help the show to achieve better ratings.
Jochen Schweizer is apparently undeterred by his former colleague's difficulties. Interested parties can still apply for the show here.
