The incubator BaystartUP Go in Münchner Technologiezentrum (MTZ) is offering two free spots to startups. The goal of the program is to prepare startups for a successful financing round within three months.
The intensive financing coaching is aimed at startups in the pre-seed phase. The startups in the incubator work in close proximity to BayStartUPThis provides them with optimal support in presenting their business idea to investors from the BayStartUP network and in market entry. The program includes weekly stand-up meetings and reporting sessions. During coaching sessions, startups develop presentable documents (business plan, pitch deck, and financial planning). The incubator itself is free of charge. However, there is a small fee for using the workstations within the incubator.
BayStartUP Go supports founding teams
Requirements for participation in the startup program include an innovative and scalable business model and at least a six-figure capital requirement. The planned company must be headquartered in Bavaria; ideally, the startup should already be based in Munich or Bavaria. The company must have been founded no more than one year ago. The team size should be between two and four people. The program is expressly not aimed at individuals.
BayStartUP Go opened last September. The incubator sits — like BayStartUP itself — in the Münchner Technologiezentrum (MTZ). Cristina Mann, administrative director of the MTZ, said at the time:
"With the BayStartUP Go Incubator, we are further expanding our long-standing collaboration with BayStartUP. For the post-program phase, the MTZ offers startups space, infrastructure, and know-how for the development of their companies."
