Football world champion Philipp Lahm, together with the two Fanmiles managing directors Fabian Schmidt and Alan Sternberg, will be at Bits & Pretzels is on board as a highlight speaker. The trio, who have been working together since 2016, will discuss the selection, training, and importance of teams – in sports and in business – in front of over 5,000 founders, investors, and prospective entrepreneurs on the second day of the Founders' Festival.
Philipp Lahm, who has been a professional football player in has invested in various companies, has also been involved in the startup Fanmiles since 2016. After his career at FC Bayern Munich and in the national team, he now wants to increasingly use his sports experience in and for his holding company.
Fanmiles on the growth path
The Berlin-based startup Fanmiles is a global loyalty account with its own currency, bearing the same name. With just one registration, users can then collect the currency #fanmiles for targeted activities in an infinite number of corporate loyalty programs and redeem it for products, services, and experiences across partners. Fanmiles' vision is to become the world's leading loyalty currency for companies. Fabian Schmidt, who serves as Chief Executive Officer, and his colleague Alan Sternberg co-founded the company in 2013 and, together with Jens Dressler as CTO, are currently on a growth trajectory.
