MedTech Mecuris wins twice

Double success for MedTech Mecuris: The Munich-based startup is honored as a "Landmark in the Land of Ideas" for its 3D-printed prosthetics and orthotics. The company also wins the 3D Pioneers Challenge for its prosthetic design.

The joint initiative of the German Federal Government and German industry presents particularly innovative projects from business, society, and science. This year, the projects from the greater Munich area included ProGloveLandpack, Recup and Electrochaea declared a Landmark in the Land of Ideas. The project's motto for 2017 is "Think Openly — So That New Things Can Emerge."

MedTech Mecuris: “Light, stable, stylish and individually customizable”

For her 3D-printed, custom neck brace “Emydura“ won Mecuris also last week the 3D Pioneers Challenge in the category MedTech. The jury's statement states:

“As we all wish: light, stable, stylish and individually adaptable to each patient.”

The award is endowed with 2,000 euros.
