CareDriver combines passenger transportation with family support services—from caring for relatives with limited mobility to shuttle services for your own children. We asked the CareDriver team our 7 questions!
1. Who are you and what do you do? Please briefly introduce yourself and your services!
CareDriver is a young Munich-based startup that offers an on-demand app-based family service for ordering a personal assistant in everyday family life. We see our helpers, or as we call them CareProfsAs everyday heroes, we help busy parents. In this way, we want to help families cope with stressful everyday life with a smile, thus turning family time into a time of joy again.
With our versatile app, we address exactly where families need support. Using the app, our customers can find the right driver or caregiver for their kids or grandparents at any time. We take care of the little everyday problems and give parents peace of mind!

2. But that's been around for a long time!
Sure, babysitting already exists. Transportation companies are plentiful, too. However, there's no service in Munich like CareDriver that combines transportation and care and allows customers to easily order via app.
Customers can sit back and relax while the trained CareProfs accompany grandma to the doctor or hairdresser, play chess with grandpa at home, or pick up children from school by car, bus, or train and take them to soccer or dancing. We also offer the option of booking the same CareProf each time, allowing a personal, friendly relationship to develop between the customer and the CareProf.
3. What has been your biggest challenge so far?
Finding drivers with passenger transport licenses who want to work for us on a freelance basis is quite difficult.
4. Let’s get down to business: How is business going?
Things are going pretty well. We've acquired more than 100 orders since February 13th. Thirty trips were booked by the end of April. We currently have 15 satisfied customers.

5. What does Munich mean to you?
We see Munich as the capital of Europe when it comes to mobility. A lot is happening here in the car-sharing sector. In our opinion, Munich is a pioneer in future-oriented mobility services and is way ahead of the rest of Germany. We also like the proximity to the Alps, the beautiful weather, and the clean city center.
6. How will your startup become the next unicorn? Or will we see you soon at Epic Fail Night?
We are currently looking for cooperation partners (companies or other service providers for families) and developing partnerships to build a large network and reach and help as many people as possible. We will then expand to other German cities and abroad.
